final project--making abstraction to the extreme

From medium to medium the real is volatilized; it becomes an allegory of death, but it is reinforced by its very destruction; it becomes the real for the real, fetish of the lost object-no longer object of representation, but ecstasy of denegation and of its own ritual extermination: the hyperreal.

--Jean Baudrillard, Simulations (p.141-142)

This is the first time I have tried to use different mediums to represent one single idea: the time I spent and the space I have occupied in 28 days. As I tried to transform this one map into images and sounds, something has changed. These works seem to be remotely related, and they only make sense when they are connected as a whole. They are abstract, yet carry so much meaning.
